The results are in and we have come in 3rd place, yahoo!! We want to wish all the winners and finalists a hearty congratulations!!! It was an honor for us to be among such a fine group of brands and this contest and our 3rd place win highlights that Mona's Curryations is a brand to look out for! What's for dinner?
Mona, a diplomat's daughter, experienced delicious flavors from four continents, yet her favorite remain her mother’s Pakistani Punjabi dishes with their aromatic array of spices, vegetables, and Halal meats. But when Mona, a busy full-time working mom of three, wanted to cook for her family, she found that she didn't have the time, so she created Mona's Curryations.

Launched
11/30 - After months of planning, we opened for business, yahoo!
12/1 - We piloted our products in the Greater Boston area. We Thank all our first retail partners for this opportunity!

4/8 - Our products were accepted into the Specialty Food Association
4/23 - We became a Woman and Minority Owned certified business
6/30 - We exhibited at the Fancy Food Show in NYC in the New Products Pavilion
10/23 - We were featured in The Boston Globe
11/30 - Survived our 1st year in business!
2019
Second Year in Business
1/14 - We participated in the Cultivate Small Business Program. This 10-week program helped us at such a critical point in our business!
3/29 - We launched our Host A Dinner Focus Group with Mona's Curryations program so that we could get some much needed feedback on what we should stop, start, and continue
8/6 - We pivoted our strategy and started working on our newest entree Chicken Tikka Masala and more, looked at redesigning our labels, and started to look at how we could expand our retail presence
11/25 - We converted our business structure to a Limited Liability Company "LLC" from sole proprietor
11/30 - Made it thru the 2nd year in business!
2020
Our Journey Continues
1/29 - Various Northeastern University interns for the coming months helped assess and guide us on various matters. We are so GRATEFUL for their help!
3/16 - COVID results in lockdowns and now more people are cooking and also facing meal prep fatigue. We understand and our entrees can help, be safe everyone!
6/30 - We are busy working on our new entrees, designs, and locations and so excited for what's to come!
9/22 - We are featured in the October Issue of Gourmet News, the electronic version was released this day
11/30 - We are 3 years old today, yay!!! We also shared our new product labels with supporters, please check out the Gallery section to see them.
12/6 - Still tons to do, but excited about getting into grocery freezer shelves soon!
2021
Dinner is getting exciting!
7/19 - Look for us in the freezer aisle at Stop & Shop! We are so excited about this partnership! We are happy to offer our Chicken Tikka Masala and Palak Paneer meals at Stop & Shop in over 350 stores across MA, CT, RI, NY, and NJ!
11/16 - Our Founder, Mona, hosted her first cooking show in an episode of What's Cookin taped at the Saugus Community TV station. What an amazing team to work with!
11/30 - Happy 4th birthday to us! WOW what a journey thus far and we are so excited about what's more to come!
2022
We are growing!
6/2 - We launched select varieties of our entrees at HEB's Central Market and so excited to be in TX!
6/29 - We partnered with The Giant Company who owns the Giant Martins grocery chains and are so excited to expand our footprint into PA, VA, WV, and MD too!
10/15 - We attended the National Frozen and Refrigerated Association Convention and met some amazing partners in the Frozen and Refrigerated grocery space!
2023
The Map is starting to look more purple!
9/19 - We attended the Grocery Shop conference and learned from various thought leaders from brands and retailers what they saw as oppportunities and challenges in the grocery space
10/8 - We are attending the National Frozen and Refrigerated Association Convention again this year and very excited to meet again some amazing partners in the Frozen and Refrigerated grocery space!
10/9 - We are so excited to launch our partnership with Albertsons and their banner stores on the east coast with Shaws, Star Market, Acme, and Safeway!!! This partnership will now bring us to 15 states and almost 1,000 locations, yay!!!

2024
We are working on expanding the brand!
3/11 - We found out that we are one of eight finalists in NFRA's Emerging Brand contest! We are in good company and wish all finalists best of luck!
3/25 - We are looking at ways at how we can expand the brand and bring our delicious cuisine into people's kitchens, please stay tuned as we roll out in addition to our Ready to Cook Line, a Ready to Create Line, Ready to Heat Line, and Ready to Eat Line, thus new exciting products are coming soon, so please stay tuned!
